Cultural Diversity Training

Virtual or Onsite Cultural Diversity Training

We train leaders to understand cultural differences within their teams, with the goal of removing communication barriers and improving cultural understanding.

Cultural Diversity Training

Cultural understanding is a critical skill that can transform organizations from the ground up. In a culturally diverse workplace, behaviors can be misinterpreted without a solid understanding of cultural influences. If your organization anticipates or currently hires non-English speakers, then our Cultural Diversity Training will help your leaders understand cultural differences and eliminate common misunderstandings. This is delivered as a three-hour training and can be onsite or virtual.

Why should we invest in understanding cultural differences in the workplace?

Cultural misunderstandings, while often unintentional, can significantly erode trust and working relationships within a team. These misunderstandings can lead to safety incidents, reduced morale, and even decreased productivity. In this course, leaders will explore the key distinctions between high-context and low-context cultures, uncovering how these differences manifest in workplace interactions, from communication styles to decision-making processes. By developing this cultural awareness, leaders will gain a deeper understanding of their teams' unique perspectives and motivations.

Organizations that employ a multicultural workforce (or plan to), and wish to train their leaders to increase their cultural awareness can benefit from this training.

Common Questions

What You Need to Know About the Cultural Diversity Training

What makes this Cultural Diversity training different from other trainings?

Our Cultural Diversity for Leaders course is specifically designed to address workplace interactions between immigrants, those who speak English as a second language, and their leaders. We collaborate closely with you to understand the demographic composition of your teams, ensuring the content is customized to meet your specific needs and challenges.

How many participants can be accommodated in a training session?

The most effective group size is 15-20 people; enough to allow for plenty of interaction with each other. However, we can accommodate up to 40 participants in a training session.

Who can benefit from taking this course?

All levels of the organization, from front-line leaders to top executives, stand to benefit from this course. When leaders at every level develop a deeper understanding of the cultural backgrounds, values, and communication styles of their teams, they can foster stronger connections and reduce workplace misunderstandings.

By improving cultural awareness and communication across the organization, teams experience increased collaboration, higher engagement, and a stronger sense of belonging.

This course complements well with Bridging Language Barriers Training where we teach leaders the skills to communicate with non-English speakers. Increase your communication skills here.
