Workplace English Onsite

English Classes at Your Location

We design and deliver workplace English classes onsite, tailored to your organization's specific needs. Our courses help build language confidence and improve organizational communication.

Workplace English Onsite

If your organization anticipates or is currently hiring non-English speakers, teaching workplace English, or improving the English skills of those ready to be promoted, then Onsite Workplace English classes can help improve your employees confidence and encourage English to be spoken as the primary business language. Unlike most English courses, which are rarely taught by teachers with workplace experience, our programs focus on your unique requirements and include lessons on understanding workplace culture.

How Can This Help My Organization?

These classes are best for organizations that employ a multilingual workforce (or plan to), and wish to invest in their employees with English classes that are tailored to your working environment. Classes are delivered in person by our team at your location.

My experience with Multilingual Workforce's English for Rising Leaders classes has been nothing but positive. Two classes have been conducted in our facility with a total of 18 employees, and we began to see results immediately. Participants have become more engaged, communication has improved markedly and in my follow up with the participants, they tell me they feel more empowered and willing to participate in group discussions and process improvement/lean initiatives.

Common Questions

What You Need to Know About the Workplace English Onsite Option

How long does it typically take someone to become fluent in English?

While our courses are focused on learning Workplace English, fluent language acquisition is a skill that is strengthened over time when utilized regularly. Typically, it takes an individual five to seven years to gain fluency in English.

What makes your Onsite Workplace English courses different from other offerings?

Most English courses are taught from the perspective of common English outside of the workplace. Our courses are designed to be workplace-first, so employees can immediately begin using their new skills in your workplace setting. The material is tailored to your specific organizational needs.

How many students can be accommodated in each class?

The most effective class size is 10-15 people, enough to allow for plenty of interaction with each other, but small enough to enable the instructor to provide personalized feedback. While 10-15 is ideal, we can accommodate up to 20 employees in a classroom.

Are there any grants or funding available to pay for English courses?

If your business is located in Pennsylvania, reimbursement may be available through WEDnetPA funding. If you have not utilized WEDnetPA funding in the past, we can connect you with a representative to find out if you qualify. Other similar funding is also available in some other states.

If you have an internal training team that is interested in providing the English language classes themselves, we offer a Train-the-Trainer option to give you more flexibility around offering English language classes to your employees. Learn more here.
